HITians do freak out! Entertainment is also a major part of the curriculum at HIT. We lay special focus on the students' overall progress and growth with a strong emphasis on sports and extra-curricular activities. The college organizes various inter-college competitions. Cultural events are held during college festivals. The HIT-TCCS chapter holds a three-day All-College event called " ARCHANA " each year comprising more than 12 technical and cultural programs. A special event called "Waves", held every year, highlights the cultural talent of our incoming batch. "Waves" is a smash-hit with students. It is replete with dances, debates, skits, mono-acting, just-a-minute sessions, painting, cartooning, tattoo-making, dumb charades, antakshari, rapid-fire quiz and multi-cultural fashion parade. Students also put up their own food and games stalls. "Waves", therefore, is total fun. Each hostel also organizes its own extra-curricular activities.

Technical Activities at HIT:

ARCHANA is a national-level techno-management symposium organized by the Hi-tech Institute of Technology, Khurda, with an aim to nurture the technical expertise and skills among youngsters. The two-day event provides a unique platform to showcase their talents fuelling their innovations in all myriad forms so that they can defy the odds to achieve the pinnacle of fame and glory. Two days of extravaganza presents a plethora of events including Robotics, Web Designing, Quizzes, Coding, Paper Presentation and many more. This enthralling techno-fiesta gives a chance to students to explore and conquer the vast realm of new horizon, redefining the meaning of success itself.
