HIT is equipped with a modern canteen that is operated by the management. It provides the students and the faculty with nutritious and hygienic vegetarian food. Snacks and soft drinks are also available. Modern cooking equipment’s that include steam boilers for rice and vegetables have been installed with the aim of providing wholesome food. The college canteen has the capacity to accommodate almost 400 students at any time. Both North Indian and South Indian dishes are served in the daily menu for the hoteliers. Day-scholars can benefit from an annual concession scheme or opt for a token scheme that is issued on a day-to-day basis.
